070 – 명동 Protestor

March 17, 2010

To be totally honest, I have no idea what this guy is rambling about on his toy megaphone.  So to jump to conclusions and call him a ‘protestor’ isn’t exactly fair (unless, of course I am correct).  There are a lot of people who don’t like the government in Korea, and listing to this demonstrator in Myeongdong, I definitely got the feeling that he was one of them. Hey Steve, I just stumbled your blog on koreanblostlist.com and I must say your approach to capture the “sound” of Korea is very unique. Keep up the great work, I will sure to keep reading your future entries.

well I’m sure if you study more about Korean history and how the current government came about, you’d be pretty unsatisfied too. there are lot of things wrong with the Korean government and its policies right now. their lack of communication to the people causes protesters like him to stand up for his opinion
