085 – ‘National Day of Mourning’ Radio Broadcast

April 30, 2010

I don’t usually post on Thursdays, but since today was a ‘National Day of Mourning’ for the funeral and remembrance of the 46 sailors who died on April 2 aboard the sunken Cheonan ship, I thought it would be an appropriate change.  This recording was made from a national radio broadcast that was being played on the bus while I rode to work this afternoon.  I don’t know what the speakers are saying, but you can definitely feel the grief.  At least one passenger was crying.  (085 – National Day of Mourning)

Recorded 4/29/10, 10:43AM (local time)

May those brave souls who lost their lives on that tragic day forever rest in peace.
