096 – Lotus Lantern Parade: Hundreds of Woodblocks

May 21, 2010

Sorry, I don’t know the official Korean name for the Buddhist ‘woodblock,’ but here is a simple sound of a hundred or more people parading, all hitting their instruments in unison.  Maybe it’s nothing special, but at least I think it’s cool. (096 – Hundreds of Woodblocks)

Recorded 5/15/10, 8:13PM (local time)

*I apologize that the picture posted above is not actually related to the sound because I failed to get a usable picture.  It’s from the same parade, though, and gives you at least some idea what the parade is all about.
