183 – Seoul ‘Underground’ Hip-hop

May 24, 2011

A team of young kids rapping in the literal underground at Sadang subway Station in Seoul.  There’s nothing groundbreaking here, but at least these boys are going out and doing something vastly different from the ‘K Hip-pop’ that pours out through the mainstream (and, hopefully, none of them are pulling out their teeth to dodge military service, either). (183 – ‘Underground’ Hip-hop)

Recorded 5/22/11, 3:23PM (local time)

More goodness from Mr. Morphy! Great to hear that you are supporting the hip hop scene in Korea. It’s reassuring to know that you enjoy ‘good’ music. On an entirely different note, I am at work listening to Brian Eno’s “Music For Airports” album. I’m at work yet I’m in the sky. Amazing.

We ARE overdue for a conversation, but finding time might be more difficult than knocking my teeth out!

…On another note, I would probably pull my teeth out to be able to serve in the military. Hmmm…
