216 – 호출벨 (Restaurant Service Bell)

February 7, 2012

A service buzzer recorded at a 샤브샤브 restaurant near 이촌역 (Ichon station) in Seoul.  Instead of raising your hand or raising your voice to get the attention of one of the busy servers, just push the button, and someone will come to help you.  Despite taking 216 posts for me to get to it, this is one of the most common sounds you’ll come across in Seoul, regularly placed in restuarants, bars, and even the occasional public restroom stall.  (216 – Service Bell)

Recorded 12/11/11, 5:58PM (local time)
